My passion for this cause motivated me to become an Authorized Facilitator/Trainer with Darkness to Light, whose mission is to confront child sexual abuse with courage through their child sexual abuse prevention training, Stewards of Children.

My passion for this cause motivated me to become an Authorized Facilitator/Trainer with Darkness to Light, whose mission is to confront child sexual abuse with courage through their child sexual abuse prevention training, Stewards of Children.
Stewards of Children is the only evidence-based, third party evaluated child sexual abuse prevention training available. In 2007, Stewards of Children was awarded the Crime Prevention Program of the year by the National Crime Prevention Council.
While other child sexual abuse prevention programs focus on educating children (good touch-bad touch, stranger danger, tricky people, etc), Stewards of Children focuses on training ADULTS, because ultimately, it is the responsibility of adults to keep children safe.

Stewards of Children training provides adults with steps to prevent abuse. Though the subject matter is undoubtedly intense, the material is presented in an empowering way, not fear-focused or depressing.
